Show 13 Counties Sign Second "Rain Making" Contract Directors of the Southern Utah Water Resources Development Corp., representing 13 southern Utah counties, including Iron, Sunday contracted for another year of cloud seeding or "rain making." The contract was awarded to the Water Resources Development Corp. of Denver, at a total cost to the 13 counties of $75,000. Under the contract cloud seeding seed-ing operations are to begin not later than May 24, with the possibility pos-sibility that the company's 24 silver iodide crystals at a dis-in dis-in operation by the end of this week. Included' in the 12-month seeding seed-ing operation contract was the option for W R D C to call for a 45-day recess from generation of silved iodide crystals at a discount dis-count of $5000. Services offered southern Utah included the full year seeding operations, the use of an area representative for public relations work for two months and a long-range weath-er weath-er forecast to directors of the organization. or-ganization.
