Show Dr. Joseph N.Symons Secured for BAC Summer Session '' k '"' ' I : f-y Dr. Joseph N. Symons, dean of students at Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college will be a member of the visiting faculty at Branch Agricultural college for the summer sum-mer session, and will conduct a family life institute June 30 and July 1. In addition to conducting the faipily institute, Dr. Symons will teach two courses in social science, sci-ence, modern social problems and juvenile delinquency. The summer session at B A C runs from June 9 to July 18. Before his appointment as dean of students, Dr. Symons was dean of men. He is also professor of sociology at U S A C, and is a widely recognized authority on family life and on problems of youth. He is author of many publications publica-tions in the field of crime, delinquency de-linquency and rural sociology. His master's thesis was a study of 168 former students at the Utah State Industrial school, and his doctor's dissertation was on Utah Residence types and criminal crim-inal oehavior. |
