Show Nelson Reunion Held Sunday at Breaks Ninety descendants of Peter Albert and Marie Olson Nelson gathered at Cedar Breaks Sunday, Sun-day, Aug. 10, for a family reunion, re-union, coming from Idaho, Nevada, Ne-vada, and many parts of Utah. The group, an excellent representation repre-sentation of the descendants, enjoyed en-joyed recreation activities, a program pro-gram and luncheon and conducted con-ducted a business meeting and election of new officers. A feature fea-ture of the program was a talk by Bishop Vernee Frame of Cedar Ce-dar City, and musical numbers by a quartet composed of Shirley, Diana and Sharon Nelson, and Marian Wood. Opening prayer was by Yorke Nelson of Cedar City and the benediction by Val E. Johnson of Lehi. Elizabeth Myrup of Trovo, who 'had served as vice president for the past year, was elected president pres-ident of the family organization, to succeed Darwin Nelson of Cedar City. Wallace York of Po-catello, Po-catello, Idaho, was named vice president. Eva Mildenhall of Provo was named secretary and treasurer, to succeed Mrs. Agnes Nelson Ahlstrom of Cedar City. Val E. Johnson of Lehi will serve as genealogist, Eva Mildenhall as historian during the coming year. |
