Show Scouts Entertained At Recent District Honor Court Theron Asiicroft, a member of the Cedar llieaks District Board, Boy Scouts of America, entertained enter-tained boy scouts of Cedar City and their families at a Court of Honor held at the First Ward church Sunday evening. Rev. Wm. Burton and Sheldon Olds, in charge of the court of honor, reported that Mr. Ash-croft Ash-croft entertained the group by showing pictures of a recent trip to Gobblin Valley as an added attraction to the court of honor proceedings. A number of scouts in the district dis-trict were passed by the court during the evening and advancements advance-ments were given in accordance with the prescribed Boy Scout advancement program. Those in attendance at the affair af-fair reported an enjoyable evening. eve-ning. Principal speaker of the evening eve-ning was the newly assigned regional executive scouter from the Utah Parks Council, Lewis McClennen, who outlined his duties dut-ies and responsibilities in the area. Questions and problems that may confront the scout leaders lead-ers sometimes arise, Mr. McClel-len McClel-len stated, and he urged scout-ers scout-ers to let him help them solve those problems. |
