Show Stake Conference MIA Program Outlined by Officers The program for the M I A session ses-sion of the Parowan Stake Quarterly Quar-terly Conference on Sunday at 7:30 p. m. has been announced by Idella Robinson and Lyle Evans, members of the MIA officer group in charge. This program pro-gram will be the final one on the schedule of the Conference which will be held Saturday and j Sunday, Nov. 13 and 14. The theme of the program will be "Musi-?, A Power of Worship," to be given in the Parowan Third Ward chapel, and will be as follows: fol-lows: Organ music, Itha Mortensen; opening song, "For the Strength of the Hills," congregation; prayer pray-er by member of Summit Ward; ennrr "ThnnLcnW'inn' llvmn " V-v congregation; scriptural reading, Marietta Skougard, and MIA threme. Program Reader Mary Etta Stubbs will be reader read-er for the evening, and will Intro-'duce Intro-'duce the following musical numbers num-bers in order:: Accordion trio by Duane Lamoreaux, Lam-oreaux, Kenneth Topham, Hebcr Lund, Paragonah Ward; organ and piano duet, "Oh My Father," Fath-er," Jackie Ward, Vanda Mitch-jell, Mitch-jell, Parowan Third; saxophone 'solo, Marie Adams, Parowan 'First; trombine solo, DeeEl Stap-J Stap-J ley, Summit; vocal solo, from I Enoch Ward; flute solo, Donald j Rowley, Parowan First; violin I solo, Elna Stubbs, Parowan Sec-ond; Sec-ond; closing song, congregation. I closing prayer, Enoch Ward. Other meetings of the conference confer-ence will be as previously announced, an-nounced, with a Priesthood Leadership Lead-ership meeting and the special meeting and social for members of the Elders quorums, senior Aaronic Priesthood, bishoprics, high council and stake presidency presiden-cy and their wives to be held Saturday Sat-urday night in the First-Second Ward chapel, and general sessions ses-sions at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. Sunday Sun-day in tne Third Ward chapel. Elder El Key L. Christiansen, assistant as-sistant to the quorum of Twelve Apostles will attend the conference. |
