Show Eail Spencei Gets Training As Aviation Electrician Airman Earl P. Spencer has completed 14 weeks of schooling at the Navy's Aviation Electrician's Electri-cian's Mate school at the Naval Air Station at Jacksonville, Fla. according to word received in Cedar City. Upon graduation Airman Spencer Spen-cer was transferred to the Naval Air Station at Hutchinson, Kan. Spencer delayed his acquired leave, that is normally given i following the school, so that he might return to Cedar City during dur-ing the deer hunting season. According Ac-cording to his mother, Mrs. Lee Spencer of Cedar City, he is expecting ex-pecting to arrive in Cedar City about Oct. 15 on a 30-day leave. According to the Navy's advancement ad-vancement program Airman Spencer will be given the rank of petty officer in the near future, providing he meets the proper requirements re-quirements at which time he will be in line for a more advanced stage of schooling. Spencer enlisted in the U. S. Navy at the Navy Reccruiting station in Cedar City, and received re-ceived his basic training at the naval training center at San Diego Die-go prior to his entering the electrical elec-trical school. |
