Show Virginia Man Will Face Trial On Burglary Charge Joseph Burgess Vaughan, about 27, of Norfolk, Va., will face trial for third degree burglary in the district court in Parowan in July, as the result of two thefts in Cedar City last week. Vaughan was apprehended by city police officer Mayo Bybee with property Identified as stolen from two automobiles in his possession. pos-session. Arraigned before Precinct Pre-cinct Justice David Smith, Vaughan entered a plea of guilty to the charge, and has been bound over to the district court for trial. i The defendant Is accused of having entered an automobile parked behind the Lunt hotel and stolen a camera, gun and pair of boots, and later to have entered a car parked on Main street, opening a suit case and taking a pair of trousers, two shirts and a belt. The two thefts took place early ear-ly Friday morning, June 13, and the defendant was apprehended as he was attempting to hitch a ride out of town. |
