Show 1 , F. H. A. CONVENTION Last week end three of our high school girls and their advisor ad-visor went to the F. H. A. convention con-vention at Logan. Those attending attend-ing were Marylin Bladen, club president; Barbara Grimshaw, club historian; Janet Wasden, state first vice president, and our new home economics teacher, Miss Neta Thompson. The girls report that they spent a very enjoyable, but very educational edu-cational three days while on the U S A C campus. The main purpose pur-pose of the convention was to help the leaders of the club, by giving them necessary information informa-tion and help in order that they may carry on and made a real success of their own clubs. Miss Thompson states that registra-iion registra-iion for joining the Cedar City V. H. A. chapter began this week. PEP CLUB NEWS In a recent meeting of the Suah Ka-ne club, the club uniform uni-form for this year was selected. Long sleeved white blouses, red jumper skirts and white saddle oxfords with red trim won the majority of the votes cast. The emblem this year will be C. H. S. worn on the left side strap of the skirt. Pep Day will be. the last Friday Fri-day of each month and each club member will be expected to be in full uniform on Pep Day. Marching preparations are under un-der way so the club will be prepared to perform at the Cedar vs Milford football game. |
