Show Exchange Students; School Plans Discussed at Rotary Members of the Rotary club heard two very interesting talks at the regular Tuesday meeting, both given by members of the club. L. A. Burascano gave the first talk dealing with Rotary Information, Infor-mation, and the success of the "Rotary Foundation," a fund established es-tablished to honor the founder of Rotary, Paul Harris, and to be used in connection with the exchange ex-change student program between countries. To date the fund has met the expense of 395 exchange students from 33 countries. The other talk was by Ianthus Wright, superintendent of Iron county schools, who outlined the future building program of the district after giving detailed information in-formation about present facilities. facili-ties. He also gave detailed information in-formation as to the school indebtedness, in-debtedness, and the tax structure struc-ture as it effects the schools of the district. |
