Show Flying Vets Must Re-enroll in School Any veteran Interested In flight training, or any veteran who has had a practical course in flight training must enroll or re-enroll with an accredited flying school before July 1, 1948, if he is to complete his training under the a vocational phase of the GI Bill of Rights. Under new legislation legis-lation providing funds for the Veterans Administration Training Train-ing program effective July 1, 1948, veterans can enroll in flight training only as vocational subject sub-ject Instead of avocational as has been the case in the past This means that ex-service men who do not intend to use flying as a means of a livlihood in the future may be refused funds to expend for a flying course. Under the new regulations It would appear possible for any veteran who is enrolled In a flight training course prior to July 1, 1948, to complete this course regardless of whether It be considered vocational or not |
