Show Seven-month Old j Baby Smothers During Vacation Trip Enterprise An over-night va-cation va-cation trip to Pine Valley Park ended in tragedy for Mr. and Mrs. Heber Wayne Holt, Enterprise, Enter-prise, when at six o'clock a. m. they discovered that their seven-month-old baby, Courtney Wayne, had smothered in his deep. Mr. Holt and his wife. Marily Snow Holt, had toured to the park with another couple, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Williams, and had camped out for the night. A bed for the baby had been made in the back of the car. The motltfr was up intermittently intermit-tently during the night as the child slept restlessly. At four-thirty four-thirty a. m. she covered him and went back to bed. When she went again at six o'clock, she found the the baby had wiggled Itself down between the quilts and the car seat which had caused the child to smother. Artificial respiration was administered ad-ministered at once by Mr. Williams, Wil-liams, and Dr. L, W. McGregor was hurriedly summoned from his summer home in Pine Valley Park, but he pronounced the child to be dead upon his arrival. Survivors, besides the parents, Include the grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Heber M. Holt, Enterprise, Enter-prise, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Snow, Delta. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2:00 p. m. in the Enterprise En-terprise ward chapel with Bishop Leland Huntsman officiating. |
