In the "oldest doll" contest Elene Stratton exhibited a 67 year old doll, with Gaylynn Sherratt winning win-ning second prize with a 60 yeat old doll, with third, fourth und fifth places as follows: Charolette Perkins 36 years; Jennie Hall, 33 years, and Reba Ann Webster, 32 vears. ilhirley Maclntire nnd Marlene Cosslett tied for first in the largest doll contest. Shirley's doll was the biggest around while Marlcne's was the tallest. Gaylin Stapley took second, se-cond, and Katherine Heyborne Uilrd. Girls entering the greatest number num-ber of dolls were Patricia Gardner, 20; Maralene Cosslett, 18; Jcannln Jones, 17; Anna Mae Garner, 15; and Charolette Ann Perkins, 14. . Jeannine Jones won first in tbv most unique doll contest with a doll with a three-faced head. The head could be rotated to three facial expressions ex-pressions laughing, crying, nnd sleeping. Charolette Perkins, won second, Marlene Cosslett, third, and Carolee Sherratt, fourth. Ferrol Dean Whatcott with hr pretty Mexican Doll won first place in the foreign doll contest. Second place went to Alice. Kay Clark, third to Jeannine Jones, and fourth to Sandra Wood. Karen Slack won first place in the youngest doll contest with her one day old doll. RaNae Bcttridge was second, Shirley May Oraff, third; Lena Stratton, fourth, and Mary Lois Raddatz, fifth. In the prettiest dressed doll contest. con-test. Shirley May Oraff won first place with her petite Marie Antoinette Antoi-nette doll, dressed in orchid and white costume of the period. Second place went to Alice Kay Clark, third to Maralene Fife, fourth to Lena Stratton, and fifth to Nellie Rae Whatcott. Carolee Sherratt with her two, one inch dolls won first place in the smallest doll contest. Second went to Anna May Garner, third to Ida Garner, fourth to Jeannine Jones, fifth to Sandra Wood. Judges were Erma Pace, Henry Raddatz, and Byrne Fernellus. |
