Show Brother Of Cedar Man' Dies On Saturday At St. George Nells Albert Anderson, 64. brother of James E. Anderson of Cedar City and for years, operator of Andersons Ranch, died In St. George Saturday, January 9, of coronary thrombosis. Mr. Anderson was born at Bellvue, now plntura, on February 28, 1883, a son of Peter and Anna Oeorgina Jorgensen Anderson, early converts to the LDS church from Denmark. He attended elementary schools at Toquervllle, and graduated from the Branch Normal school at Cedar City, later attending the University Universi-ty of Utah. On June 28, 1911, he married Des. lie Lowe of Parowan, In the St George LDS temple. They made their home at Anderson's ranch until un-til 1931, when they moved to Order-vllle, Order-vllle, where Mr. Anderson entered the contracting business. They moved mov-ed to St. George In 1936 and had resided there since. Active in L D S church affairs, he was many years a member the Toquervllle LDS ward bishopric, a leader In Mutual Improvement Association work, and In St. George served three years as bishop's counselor coun-selor In the former St. George West ward. Surviving are his widow; seven children, Mrs. Lillian Christensen, Provo; Mrs. Ramona Chamberlain, Ordervllle; Mrs. Harriet Leavltt, Hawthorne, Nevada; Mrs. Georglna Taylor, Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Fae Garde Pickleslmer; Harold and George Anderson, St. George; 15 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Emma Naegle, Toquervllle; James E. Anderson, An-derson, Cedar City; B. F. Anderson, Anderson's Ranch, Washington county; Mrs. Laura Pulsipher, SI. George, and Lt. Col. Anna O. Anderson, Ander-son, Ford Ord, California. |
