Show Knife And Fork Club Hears Fine Lecture The January meeting of the Es-culante Es-culante Knife and Fork club, held at the Esculante hotel Thursday ce::ir.g. proved to be one of the mo.;' interesting yet held by the local lo-cal lecture club. The .speaker, Captain John Van-derveer Van-derveer Deuel. U. S. Army resigned, lecturing on the tribes of the upper Amazon regions, proved very entertaining en-tertaining and the large crowd en-Joyed en-Joyed h:s lecture and also his answers an-swers to numerous questions. He gave a graphic word picture of an expedition into the land of savages, and held his listeners in close attention throughout. The attendance at-tendance was near capacity evidencing evidenc-ing a keen interest in the lectures on the part of the membership. The speaker was introduced by Richard W.
