Opening Dates Set For Facilities In National Parks Dates for the opening of the Utah Parks company hotel, lodges and cafeterias in the park area, have been announced by Barnard Quinn, supervisor of hotel and dining room service for the company. The Escalante hotel in Cedar City and the cafeteria at Zlon National park will be the first to open for business. Both will be opened on Monday, May 1, Mr. Quinn states. The hotel will be under the management of William Arthur Hansen, and the cafeteria under the management of Boyd Harris. On Tuesday, May 16 the cafeterias cafe-terias at Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon National parks will be open. The Grand Canyon cafeteria will be under the management man-agement of Alex Angelo, who has managed the Escalante hotel for the past year or two. Dal-ton Dal-ton Meeks will be in charge of the cafeteria at Bryce. All three of the lodges, at Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon parks, will open on Saturday, May 27. The managers will be W. W. Stoker Sto-ker at Zion R. W. Pothier at Bryce and Rulon Iverson at Grand. TheOdar Breaks lodge will open about June 12, under the management of A. L. Matheson. The date for the opening of this lodge cannot be definitely set, flnce the opening is dependent on the clearing of snow from the monument and the approach.
