New Elk Project To Gather Clothes To Meet Emergencies Announcement Is made that the Cedar City Elks Lodge will soon begin a new charitable project designed de-signed to prepare the club to meet emergency ncedjs at a moment's notice. Under the plan the lodge will collect col-lect used clothing, clean and repair re-pair the items, and store them for distribution when the need arises. The Elks will call upon the people of Cedar City to contribute used clothing cloth-ing no longer needed but In good enough condition to be used by those in need. The Club members plan to canvass can-vass the town on Armistice Day to collect all the used clothing possible. After the collection is made the clothing will be cleaned and the jtvmbcrs of the Ladles of Elks organization or-ganization will be asked to make the necessary repairs. The clothing vlll then be catalogued and stored to that Items may be distributed to those In need when an emergency arise.
