Show Former Cedar Man Called By Death Gustav George Sievert, 61, well known former Cedar City resident, resi-dent, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Overton, Nevada, Sunday night, July 11. Mr. Sievert was born in Hay-ton, Hay-ton, Wisconsin, July 19, 1886. He came to Salt Lake City, where he was engaged in the garage business for many years. In 1926, he opened a garage in Cedar City, later moving to the Beryl district, where he owned ranch- ing property. He moved to Overton in 1944, where he worked at the Nunn company as a machinest and a master mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Hilda, formerly prominent in Cedar Ce-dar City music circles, three daughters, Mrs. Jane Dell, Bullhead Bull-head City, Arizona; Mrs. Gerald-ine Gerald-ine Mahoney, Eugene, Oregon; Mrs. Dorothy Schnakenberg, Van Nuys, California; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Guschel, Mrs. Freida Raasch and Mrs. Clara Fauchs, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held In Overton, July 14, Burial was in the Overton city cemetery. |
