Show Chambeilain Family Holds Reunion AtDuck&eekAiea The descendants of Thomas Chamberlain met at Duck Creek Saturday and Sunday, July 16 and 17, for the family's annual reunion in commemoration of what would have been the late Mr. Chamberlain's 94th birthday. Approximately 200 family members mem-bers enjoyed a group dinner, bonfire bon-fire program, and general meeting meet-ing Saturday, and fishing and general visiting Sunday. Retiring group officers, Leo Chamberlain, Kanab, president; Annie. C. Esplin, Cedar City, vice president; and Maurine Jones and Lillian McAllister, secretaries, secretar-ies, presided at the election of new officers, Bertha Flygare, Lehi, president; Joseph Chamberlain, Chamber-lain, Salt Lake City, vice president, presi-dent, and Helen Chamberlain and Margaret Esplin, Salt Lake city, secretaries.' Thomas Chamberlain, one of the early pioneers of Kane county, coun-ty, was the head of a family that now totals 611. He still has two wives living. Of his family, 65 defendants served in the U. S. armed forces, and 40 have filled missions for the L D S church |
