J hopes may not be realized in full they may be in part The withdrawal of Colorado is by no f means to be attributed to a feeling of the lack of debating strength Far FarR R from it There are always ys a thousand Il r. r arid and one obstacles to be overcome in preparation for such contests and the seated deep-seated dissatisfaction prevailing among the students in consequence of the way in which the debaters were chosen and the action of the faculty in taking the matter into their hands caused the disruption Perhaps after all Colorados Colorado's action is a blessing in disguise for at this critical period it would have been a most difficult matter to make financial ends meet We extend to our sister in institution institution institution in- in our best wishes and hope that by another year or two we shall be able to establish on a permanent basis this excellent form of inter-collegiate inter con conten conten- ten ten- tion t |
