Show NEW EXALTED RULER OF CEDAR CTY ELKS LA .l AFTON BONN Afton Bohn has been Installed as exalted Ruler of the Cedar City Elks Lodge No. 1556 succeeding Wesley Thompson, who has served In that capacity for the post year. Named to serve with Exalted Ruler Bohn were Kenneth Imlay, esteemed leading knight; Ralph C. Adams, esteemed loyal knight; D. W. Corry, esteemed lecturing knight; Wlrth Bulloch, secretary; J. L. Fak-ler, Fak-ler, treasurer; Norman Esmelcr, tyler; Wesley Thompson, five-year trustee; M. D. Arns, four-year trustee; trus-tee; E. W. Macfarlane, three-year .trustee; D. J. McMurphy and Glen Hcaton, holdover trustees. The number of trustees was increased in-creased from three to five this year, since the membership had grown to more than 250. Dee Arthur was named alternate to the grand lodge, and the following follow-ing appointive officers were selected: select-ed: J. V. Adams, esquire; J. A. Pace, Inner gua'd; Ned Sargent, chalaln; Arthur Fretwell organist. Jimmy Urle, who was sorlously Injured In an automobile accident In December, underwent an opera Hon Thursday at the veterans hospital hos-pital ln Salt Lake City. He is reported re-ported to be making a very satisfactory satis-factory recovery. |
