Show Presbyterian Ladies Hold First Meeting of New Year Committee chairmen were appointed ap-pointed by the president of the Ladies Aid Society of the Community Com-munity Presbyterian church, at the first meeting of the year for the group held on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the home of Mrs. R. L. Wahl. Jr. Appointed chairmen by Mrs. Ed Hearrell, president, were: Mis. William Kennedy, program; Mrs. Robert Maddox, Bazaar: Mrs. Arnold Anderson, public. ty; Mrs. Karl Gardner, sunshine; Mrs. Robert Smith, hospital sew-ing; sew-ing; Mrs. Stephen Nenoff, sup-per. sup-per. During the meeting, "Semi Pals" of the past year were announced an-nounced and new "Pals" for the coming year were drawp..pjans for the coming year were also announced. Holdover officers of the organization organ-ization are: Mrs. Hean-ell, presi-dent; presi-dent; Mrs. Fred Parkinson, vice president; Mrs. Charles Carper, secretary and Mrs. Harvey Duncan, Dun-can, treasurer. Refreshments were served at the meeting by the hostesses, Mrs. Wahl and Mrs. H. M. End-sley. |
