Show School Principal Addresses Rotarians Maintaining that "Knowledge is j the Key to Liberty." Oscar Hulet, principal of the Cedar City ele-1 mentary schools, addressed the Rotary Ro-tary Club Tuesday on the subject of Loyalties of True Men and tht; I schools' relationship to them-He them-He pointed to the importance of minorities, and outlined what the loyalty to self, to groups, and to schools can do to develop this. He also pointed out that it is the responsibilities re-sponsibilities of the schools to teach young people the importance of work, and to overcome the outmoded out-moded Idea that education was a means toward . relief from work. The program was in charge of Paul Ward, chairman of the Youth Service committee of the club. W. C. Billings, member of the Needles, California, Rotary Club, was a visitor at the meeting. |
