Show I)cal Couples Married In Double Wedding A double wedding was performed in Yuma, Arizona, on Wednesday, March 11, uniting Miss Blanche Macfarlane and Antone Webster, both of Cedar City, and Miss Helen Kelley of Delta and Earl Fumass of Ojiclen, both former BA.C. students. stu-dents. Miss Macfarlane Is a daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. C. Wm. Macfarlane, and Mr. Webster is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Webster. Both are former B. A. C. students where they were prominent in social and musical c.rcles. The bride was affiliated af-filiated with the Phi Alpha Beta sorority and active in music nnrl dancing programs at the school. Antone, who left Cedar City with Battery p of the 222nd Field Artillery, but has since been transferred trans-ferred to the Army Air Corps, was affiliated with the Phi Sigma Chi fraternity and was a member of the college orchestra. Mr. and Mrs. Furness attened the B. A. C. last year, the young lady being a prominent dancing student. Earl was a member of the Phi Sigma Chi fraternity and held important im-portant student body offices while attend ng the school. Tlie blrde is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kelley, and the groom a son of Earl Furnass, Sr., who makes Cedar City his business headquarters. head-quarters. Mrs. Furness returned to San Diego with her husband, while Mrs. Webster returned to Cedar City to wait until Antone Is assigned to a training field, at which time she will Join him. |
