Show Six Injured In Auto Collision Early Wednesday Mrs. Leroy Lyle, 34. of St. George was severely cut and bruised when the car in which she was riding collided col-lided with another automobile about 1 a. m. Wednesday. Others sustained sustain-ed minor cuts and bruises and both autos involved were totally demolished, demol-ished, it is reported. The accident occurred about three miles north of Cedar City on highway high-way 91, when a car driven by Corry Parry and a machine driven by Max Garrick of Salt Lake City collided. Garrlck was traveling south, driving driv-ing a car owned by Wilford Chria-tensen Chria-tensen of Salt Lake City. Officers Investigating the accident said Corrv apparently attempted to pass a truck when he saw the southbound machine approaching. In applying his brakes his car skidded on the icy highway directly in the path of the approaching car. Garrlck received severe lacerations lacera-tions of the hand and cuts and bruises and Christensen and Parry sustained cuts and bruises about the face and hands. Arthur Dix, a passenger pass-enger in the Parry car, received a lacerated right eye and scalp wounds. All except Mrs. Lyle were released from the hospital Immediately. |
