Show Former Cedar City Young Lady Accepts Post In Washington Miss Dixie Foster of Salt Lake City, and a former resident of Cedar Ce-dar City, left Friday for Washington, Washing-ton, D. C, where she will take u; her duties as a member of the staff of Walter K. Granger, representative from the first congressional district in Utah. Prior to her departure, Miss Foster Fos-ter was extensively entertained in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lief McManus and Miss Irene Chugg were hostesses hostess-es at a party given at the former's uuine, wane mjs. cinei a. ttenxei entertained on December 20th at her home in honor of Miss Foster. Two oranizations complimenting Miss Foster were the Women's Aero-nauntic Aero-nauntic association, which had a farewell party for her at the home of Miss Karline Winter, and Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. The latter group had a breakfast at the University club last week. |
