The nature of his trouble was such as to necessitate nn operation which Dr. McGregor successfully performed, with the assistance of Mrs. Olive Ward, Mrs. Laura Clark, and E. A. P Burton. The littlo fellow with stood tho ordeal remarkable well and is recovering nicely at present writ- Quite a number of our town people peo-ple were in attendance at the Quarterly Quar-terly Conference held in Cedar City Saturday and Sunday, at which Apos-' Apos-' tie George F. Richards and Kulon S. Wells, were present. An excellent spirit prevailed throughout the conference con-ference and many interesting and instructive topics were dicsussed. Tho Y. L. M. I. A. Stako Board was reorganized during the recent conference con-ference at Cedar, with Sister Allie Knell as President, and May H. Wood-. Wood-. bury and Ellen Nelson as councilors. Tho Cloninger Theatre company held forth two nights this week to 1 crowded houses. The plays were high class and well rendered. M. I. A. day is approaching, and preparations are being made to welcome and entertain all visitors. It is hoped that all wards throughout the Stake will participate in the activities acti-vities of the contest and a general good time will be enjoyed., Fred Bruhin's neat four roomed bungalow is now under course of erection. er-ection.
