Show COMMERCIAlfCLUB WILL ELECT OFFICERS A meeting of the Commercial Club will be held next Thursday night in the office of-Dr. Rufus Leigh in the Mercantile block, for the purpose of electing officers for the ensuing term. It its desired that every member mem-ber of the club bo present and assist in the election of men to manage the club's affairs daring the next twelve months. As a matter of fact, those who have any interest in the club will attend, unless prevented by uni avoidable reasons. Let no mem ber remain away from the meeting, meet-ing, and then stand on the street after the election is over and knock the action of those who shall attend. Such conduct is not only destructive and obstructive, obstruc-tive, but it is positively dishonorable. dishon-orable. If you have a man in view for any of the offices, or any suggestions you with to make, in sincere desire to help the club and the city, by all means do not hesitate to be on hand and make yourself heard. |
