Show PAROWAN Parowan, Utah, Aug. 9, 1010. Henry Lyman, a brother of Wm. H. Lyman of Parowan, is here visiting his relatives and friends. Mr. Lyman Ly-man moved from Parowan to California Califor-nia about thirty-five years ago, and now has a home in one of the richest parts of that state. S. A. Haltcrman returned from Salt Lake today with another Dodgo car. Mr. Haltcrman and some others oth-ers left here last Sunday morning at about 4:30 and arrived in Salt Lake Tt . - ; at 8:U0 p. m. They went in Frank ' ' Lyman's Dodge car. Pretty good time 16 hours from Parowan to Salt Lake by automobile. -. "A The grain crop in this locality is ( good this year and the harvest is now on. Prospects arc also favorable for a good crop of alfalfa next cutting. A good deal of the first cutting got spoiled with the rain. Work on the new meeting house is progressing nicely now. The foundation founda-tion will soon be completed. |
