Show A RARE TREAT FOR CEDAR CITY In response to an appeal from the Library Hoard Messrs. Graham and Roylance of the Summer School of Music, have generously consented to give a musicale in the Tabernacle next Sunday evening, the entire proceeds pro-ceeds of Which will be turned over to the Roan! to he used for much-needed improvements in and about the public pub-lic library. Mr. Fred Graham is one of the leading vocalists of the state, and needs no introduction to an appreciative ap-preciative public. Mr. Roylance is a violinist of high order, recognized us one of the most successful leaders' of band and orchestra in the state, and as he has come to take up his resi ! dence in Cedar City, in the capacity of. B. A. C. instructor, everybody should turn out and give him a warm Welcome. Wel-come. The program will begin promptly . at 8:U0. Voluntary contributions will , be Veceived at the door. Dr. Leonard Reports. Mrs. Berry Williams of Kanauu-villej Kanauu-villej who was operated upon last week for appendicitis, will be ready to leave the hospital the fore part of next week. Miss Jean Urie, who was operated upon for appendicitis Inst Thursday, Is improving very nicely, Levona Parry, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Parry, was operated on for appendicitis last Sat-.ui Sat-.ui day, and is now ready to leave the hospital. This is the fifth operation that Miss Parry has undergone in the last six years, and it is certainly to I be hoped that her health will be better bet-ter from now on. Dr. Leonard had a midnight call to Harmony last Wednesday night to at- I tend Mrs. Lawrence Prince, and the , result was a fine baby boy at the Prince home Thursday morning. Last week a fine baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Will Wood of this city. |
