A, Halterman of t-Payowan, the well-known well-drill operator, oper-ator, was in town last Friday on his way to Milford to discuss with the citv council of that place the matter of a city well, arrd while here took occasion to call at The Record office-and discuss dis-cuss the water situation in Cedar valley. Mr. Halterman stated, that Jn his opinion there is plenty of water in this valley to, irrigate almost every acre capable of cultivation. To do iq would require re-quire but the sjnking of wells and the installation of gasoline, electric , or power pumps. To illustrate his point he stated that pone time since h drilled a well on his farm in Parowan valley from which he secured a flow of 20 gallons per minute.
