A delightful evening" was spent in playing games, singing,and partaking par-taking of a dainty lunch. Mrs. E. C. Cox entertained the ladies of the S. E. & L. A., together with their husbands, Tuesday evening at her home. There wero between eighty-five and ninety guests present and a most dolightful evening was spent. Mrs. Cox is an ideal hostess and spared neither time nor expense in entertaining hor friends. The games arranged created bursts of laughter. At a late hour a tempting lunch was served after which the guests dispersed wishing their hostess every good wish. On Thursday the 13th the Relief Re-lief Society organization of the East and West Wards gave a reception in honor of the retiring officers of the West Ward and Mrs. E. Crane Watson .-: --.tjT.::..
