On the question of sugar the people peo-ple of Cedar City have been living from hand to mouth, to to speak, for some weeks now. What little sugar has been obtainable by the stores has come in broken doses, a few sacks at a time, and a good part of the time some of the people, at least, have had to either go without sweetening in their coffee and mush or substitute with honey and aorghnm, Today it is announced that a car of sugar is actually on the way, however, from PaytOB to Lund, and it is hoped that another day or two will noo the end of the famine. |
