Show PLANS FOR B. A. C. $3,000 BARN Architect R. L. Jones Will Meet A. C. Building Committee Tomorrow Randalh L. Jones, the local architect who has prepared the plans and specifications for the new $3,000 barn to be erected just west of the college buildings, build-ings, was a passenger on the stage to Lund yesterday, enroute to Salt Lake and Logan. Tomorrow Mr. Jones will meet with the Agricultural College committee on buildngs for final action on the plans, and as soon as they are accepted it is proposed pro-posed to commence work and complete the barn as early as possible, so that it will be ready for use in the spring. The plans call for a thoroughly modern barn '36x130 "feet, with stables, granary, wash room, and harness room in basement and above hay loft and room for machinery, etc. The barn will be built partially in the hill on which the College buildings Btand, making a good drive-way into the upper atory, which is considered a great convenience where the geography of the location will permitof it, and in this case the ground is especially favorable to this style of construction. con-struction. The estimated cost of the barn is $3,000. It was Mr. Jones' intention in-tention to attend a meeting of the Utah Association of Architects, Archi-tects, of which he is a member, en route to Logan, at Salt Lake City today. |
