In the last war ut the utmost fifty have been nwarded. However, several dogs belonging to the British urmy have received this honor. These were: Bob, of the Iloyal Berkshire, which In the Afghanistan war saved the life of several soldiers; Jack, which accomplished accom-plished the same feats nt the battle of the Alum, nnd Jerry, n hero of the Crimean wnr, which received from the cltv of Dublin n medal and a dinner.
