Show U.OFU.TO RAPID BROADCftST WILL SEND OUT SPEECHES, LECTURES, LEC-TURES, ATHLETIC NEWS, MUSICAL MUS-ICAL PROGRAMS AND IMPORT-ANT IMPORT-ANT GOVERNMENT MESSAGES. By tho use of a radio broadcasting apparatus which is being purchased by tho University of Utah, the institution insti-tution will send out to all parts of the state, as well as to almost all of tho United States west of the Mississippi river, lectures and speeches by the most prominent men of tho country and of the world as they stop at the State University on their way across the continent. Tho broadcasting apparatus will bo valued at more than $1000. It will be installed by students of advanced standing in the school of engineering of the University. . "Wo hope to have tho station fully equiped and ready to send out messages mes-sages by the time school starts in September," said Professor Orin Tug-man Tug-man of tho Engineering school who is in charge of the installation of the apparatus. Besides tho broadcasting of speeches and lectures by eminent visitors, vis-itors, such things as .athletic news, musical programs, and important State and Govrnment messages to the people will be sent out from the University Uni-versity station.
