M Brodio and Secretary II. C. Hotaling H of the national association, who H wero present, wcro given to under-H under-H " stand that tho Utah editors meant H business. H M the 1922 convention convenes M ' in Utah, the meeting will bo held IH in Salt Lako City. A big fcaturo of 1 tho gathering will bo n trip cover H ing tho entire state. B Mr. Bodic, who conducts a paper fl in Oregon and Mr. Hoteling, who H dovotcs his cntiro time to tho work M of tho association, with hcadquar- m tcrs at St. Paul, attended tho mcot- M ing of tho Utah editors especially H to look into tho situation and sco if M Utah is ready to entertain tho na-B na-B .: tional association. They expressed ' v themselves as being pleased with tho M situation as they saw it. M t,' ; Tho 1921 convention was held in m Florida this last summer and Mr. H Brodic estimated that tho matter B written during and after tho mect- M ing would total four or fivo thoua- fl and columns of publicity for that M Certainly if Utah gets tho 1922 H convention, ttho state as a whole, M with its wonderful resources and M scoenry, will receive thousands of H dollars worth of publicity in nows- V papers and magazines all over tho 1 United States and in d number of the 1 foreign papers. ' It will not bo definitely decided m until next winter, when tho execu- H tivo committco meets, just whero B tho next convention will bo held. R. H ' T. Porto of Salt Lake, head of tho H . Porto Publishing company and scc- H rotary of the Utah State Press as H Eociation will moot with tho com H mittco and he, together with Mr. H Brodio and Mr. Hotaling, will urge H that Utah bo chosen for tho convon- H At tho meeting in Brigham City M last week, a committco of Utah cdi-j H tors was chosen to look after tho H preliminary work in this stato and H get support from tho different com H mcrcial bodies and cities. H Should Utah bo successful in land H '' ing tho convention for next year, as H it no doubt will, every effort should H r "?-.. bb mado by tho city of Cedar to get H tho committco in charge to include H ' Cedar City's mountain scenery in H their tour of the state.
