Show NEWCASTLE. Newcastle was represented at the conference and church convention held in Parowen on tho 24th and 2Gth by tho. following people: J. Claud Knell, Robert Piatt, Mrs. H. E. Harrison, Har-rison, Mrs. Frank Knell. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Knell, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Forsyth, Mrs. Donald Forsyth, R. M. Gillies, R. E. Tullis, Chas Hulet and Murray Harrison. R. E. Tullis and Chas. Hulet were in Parowan last week serving on the jury. !Miss Ora Thornton is seriously ill with pneumonia at tho homo of her aunt, Mrs. J. G. Pace in Cedar. Her mother, Mrs. E. T. Thornton, is with her. Tho Misses Reeva and Julia Thornton Thorn-ton have given up school in Cedar and returned homo on account of the ill-inetiSJof ill-inetiSJof their slater OOra. s. Miss Tyc Knell paid her parents a brief visit last week. S A new girl arrived at tho home of Bishop and Mrs. J. T. Forsyth on the H d, Mr. and Mrs. Foss Howland of Sa-fl Sa-fl ncss of their sister Ora. School opened on tho 26th with B Miss Sarah Guernsey as principal M and Miss Maria Piatt acting tempo-M tempo-M rarily as assistant pending the arri- val of Miss Talbot from Kansas City. Miss Minnie Knell of Pinto visited in Newcastlo a few days last week. |
