BB When tho hour of the convention BB arrived action was begun immediate- B ly, by Chairman Y. H. Lyman, and B motions passed Cor tho appointing B of a temporary- chalrninn and tempor- BB ary secretary. Immediately after B two committees wero appointed, ono BB on credentials nnd one on organiza- B tion and order of business. -A 10 B mimito recess was taken, and upon B reconvening tho reports of tho com- ftwJ mitteos wcro read and adopted. B Nominations woro then called for B and Washington county lead by plac- B Ing tho nnmo of David Hirschl before B tho convention, followed by Beaver B with Mr. Gunn, and Iron with R. A. B Thorlcy. B Balloting showed 8 for Hirschl, B for Gunn and 10 fqr Thorloy, -no B choice being made. On the second HwJ ballot Beaver led with 8 for Hir- !WB schi. Iron following giving 10 for Hirsehi, and.
