Show NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION, Cedar City, Iron County, State of Utah. WHEREAS, there is immediate nnd pressing need of raising funds for tho purpose of installing a modern and complete street lighting system within said City for tho purpose of supplying said City and tho inhabitants thereof with artificial light, the same to bo owned nnd controlled by said municipality, munici-pality, and, I WHEREAS, there Is immediate nnd, pressing need for purchasing grounds for a Public Park within City and to lay out, establish and improve such grounds, nnd, ' WHEREAS, there is immediate and, pressing need for increasing, improv-i ing, enlarging, extending, perfecting, and ndding to the present wut-( er works system of said City, and securing nn additional water j supply for tho purpose of nun-, plying nnd distributing water to tho inhabitants thereof, the same to bo owned nnd controlled by said municipality, munic-ipality, NOW THEREFORE, notice is, hereby given than bn Saturday tho 1st day of May, 1020, a special election elec-tion will be held within the limits of, Ccdnr City, Iron County, Utnh, for, the purpose of submitting to tho qual- ificd voters of said City ns shall havdj paid a property tax therein in the year next proceeding such election the, following propositions, to-wit: j FIRST. "Shall the negotiable coupon bonds of Cedar City, Iron Co., Utnh, in the sum of Nino Thousand Dollnrs ($9,000) payable in not exceeding twenty years from tho dato of issue, bearing interest at the rate of not exceeding exceed-ing six per cent (0) per nnnum, payable semi-annually bo issued and sold for purpose of defraying expense of installing n modem nnd complete street lighting system sys-tem within said City for the purpose pur-pose of supplying said City and the inhabitants thereof with artificial arti-ficial light, tho same to be owned and controlled by said municipality?" municipal-ity?" SECOND. "Shall the municipal coupon bonds of Cedar City, Iron County, Utah, in tho sum of Fourteen Thousand (Dollars ($14,000.00) payable in not exceeding ex-ceeding twenty years from dato of issue, bearing interest at tho rate of not exceeding six per cent (G) per nnnum, pnyabfe semiannually, semi-annually, be issued and sold for tho purpose of defraying the expense ex-pense of purchasing grounds for a Public Park within said City, and to lay out, establish nnd improve im-prove such grounds?" THIRD. "Shall the municipal coupon bonds of Cedar City, Iron County, Utnh, in the sum of Fifty Fif-ty Thousand Dollars, ($50,000.-00) ($50,000.-00) payablo in not exceeding twenty years from the dato of issue, bearing interest at tho rate of not exceeding six per cent (0) per annum, payablo seny-nnnunlly, seny-nnnunlly, be-issued and sold for tho purposo of defraying the expense ex-pense of increasing, improving, enlarging, extending, perfecting perfect-ing and ndding to the present pres-ent waterworks system of said City, and securing nn additional addi-tional water supply for the purposo pur-poso of supplying nnd distributing distribut-ing water to the inhnbitnnts thereof tho same to be owned nnd controlled by said municipality?" I For the issue of Wntcrworks bonds: YES ) NO I If n voter desires to vote in favor of an issue of bonds, ho shall place X in tho space after the word "Yes."
