I Wednesday was Club Day at the Branch Agricultural College, the rc- gular Chapel period, from 10:00 to i 10:45 a. m., being taken over by the various clubs which met separately L and conducted programs of special ( - interesf. ,' Tho Girls' Welfare CluD, composed . of nil of the girls in tho institution, held its semi-annual election, tho meeting being conducted by President ,, Lucilo Rogerson. The officers elected . for tho ensuing half-year were: i Lucilo' Gatdnor, President; Nottio J Walker, Vice-President; Mary Palmer, I Secretary-Treasurer; and Ellen Ash- down, Jasmine Lewis, Edrio Corry, Gwen Webster and Winnie Williams, I Executivo Committee. After the elec- t: tion of officers, tho Club acted favpr- ably on a proposal from the Craftsman Crafts-man Club that tho two clubs co-opo- rate in tho production of a play; and L Winnie Williams, as chairman of the f girls sub-committee on dramatics, was f,- . instructed to conduct further tiego-p'v tiego-p'v tiations.
