Show LIBRARY NOTES Tho N. E. A. will tax Salt Lake City for accomodations if tho present plans nnd expectations aro matured. Tho conference is to bo held from July 4th to 10th. Special sessions being arranged for library departments depart-ments ns woll as. conjoint with teachers. Tho object is to make librarians li-brarians moro efficient, to show that schools and libraries- have much in common and to bring about a general betterment in all departments. Wo should appreciate receiving Vol's ono nnd three of the Millcninl Star as these books cannot be purchased. pur-chased. Althiugh too rare for circulation cir-culation patroiiB have free access to them in the library. Any number after sixty-five would also bo very acceptable. Copies of tho Journal of Discourses are needed after volume twenty four and any other old publication pub-lication of the L. D. S. Church would bo graciously received and religiously guarded. Historical manuscripts of Cedar City or Iron County would bo a choice addition to our flics, and tho biographical biograph-ical sketches of any of our pioneers and leaders of any worthy causo would bo better preserved than possible pos-sible at any other place, besides being be-ing convenient for reference when needed which is quite frequent since tho tourist travel tins increased. Wc should bo glad to spccializo in n war relic display, with ,tho history of each article attached, and tho name of the soldier boy loaning tho same. Tho best care received. 4 The past week wo have had librarians librari-ans call upon, us from, Salt Lake City, Denver and Pittsburg, each of whom thought wo were doing a most splendid splen-did work in consideration of our meagre mea-gre financial Btrength.
