Show Scorpion Died Naturally. I havo recently como across tho following fol-lowing passago In tho Rev. John Campbell's Camp-bell's "Travels In South Africa" (London, (Lon-don, 1815), page 38: "Having caught a scorpion near our tent, we tried whether naturalists wore accurate 1-3 relating that if that animal bo sun rounded with Arc, and sees ho enn not escape, ho will sting himself to death. However, It died as quietly as any other animal, only darting Its sting from it, as if to opposo any ordinary assailant." Tho experiment was mado near Zwellendam, Capo Colony, on February 20, 1813.
