Show Will Patent South Peak. Postmaster T. A. Thorley returned from Statellnc tho first ot the wpk, where ho had been with Deputy Mineral Min-eral Surveyor Dalley and son to suryey his South Peak mining claim for a V-S. V-S. patent. J. M. Tho South Peak was tho second location made in tho camp and is in a very promising locality. While no sensational sensa-tional sttiko has been made thereon a number ot high grade veins havo been traced directly infp it. It adjoins both tho Qphlr and Johnny companies, ground, and is certain to net its owner a ueat sum soonor or later. , Mr. Thorley states that State ino is looking up a little lately. The saloons which had suspended business for souio tlmo, resumed prior to the Forth, and thero to some prospects of the Oghlr mill starting again boon. Tho Johnny Is ruuulng at full capacity with its ten stamps aud it Is expected that additional addition-al stamps will bo installed at at early date. The towu has built up considerably since Mr. Thorluy was last .thero and ho believes it has a great future k-fore it. |
