Show Obituary. j Pergrossi. Rose Pergrossi, daughter of Joseph Pergrossi of De Lamar. New, died at the Holy Cross hospital Thursday. She had been attending school at St. Ann':? "for the past two years. Three weeks ago an abscess formed in her knee and an operation to remove the puss was performed. Her physical strength and endurance .brought her through th-3 operation without any difficulty. An accumulation of puss rendered the necessity ne-cessity of a . second operation, and it was during this operation that she succumbed. suc-cumbed. - Rose was remarkably bright in an her studies, especially in music. She was a general favorite with all her playmates. Only last Monday her father fa-ther came to this city to see her and was about to return to De Lamar when the sad news of his child's death was announced to him. Her teachers and schoolmates were all deeply affected at the sad termination of one who gave so many bright promises for the future. fu-ture. Last August, during the absence ab-sence of Miss Gleason from the city. Rose Pergrossi, though but a child, took her place at the organ in St. Mary's church. Had she lived, her. musical mu-sical tajent would have won for her great merit. The loving and devoted father has the sympathy of all who loved little Rose Pergrossi. Patterson. The death of Miss Maude Patterson was a dreadful shock to the hosts of friends who knew and loved her. From her very babyhood she possessed every winsome trait of character that is given to a woman. The hearts of all beat in sympathy for the bereaved mother. The ea'-ly. death of such a lovable girl is indeed sad, but it is consoling to know that in life and death she will ever be remembered most tenderly by all who knew her.
