Show GREAT FALLS, MONT. j Great Falls, Mont., Oct, 5. Maurice Deering, aged 62 years, father of James Deering, chief clerk in the local land (office, died at Columbus hospital'at :V o'clock yesterday afternoon, aftev about three days' illness with pneumo- nia. His condition had not been con- sidered serious, and the change for the' ! worse occurred so suddenly Jhat his wife and' daughter, who are in Helena,, were unable to get here before he died, j The body is at George's undertaking j rooms. At 5 o'clock Monday afternoon : it will be forwarded to Helena, where ! services will be held in the cathedral of . the Sacred Heart at 9 o'clock Tuesday 1 morning, and interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery at Helena. Mr. Deering was . a stationary engi- neer by trade and was employed in j that capacity at Marysville for over! eighteen years. He had spent most of ( the past year in this city with his son. He is survived by a wife and daughter, Anna, both in Helena, and a son, James, in this city. Another son, Maurice Mau-rice Deering, jr., died here about thre-. months aso. |
