Show . iWMm Bells, Woodman-Erdmann. The friends of Miss Mamie Woodman, Wood-man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David H. Woodman, and Herman .Erdmann will be agreeably surprised to learn of the marriage of the young . people, which took place at the residence of Rt. Rev. Bishop Scanlan. Miss Woodman Wood-man apd Mr. Erdmann left the home of the bride early in the afternoon, for the puiyjose, it was understood, of attending at-tending the matinee. Two of the intimate inti-mate friends of the young people, however, how-ever, had been let into the secret, and the four met at the home of Bishop Scanlan, where the ceremony , took place. The bride was attended by Miss Nora White and the groom by Gordon Rappel, these being the only witnesses. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Erdmann returned to the bride's home to break the news to her parents and receive the parental blessing. bless-ing. Both the young people are well known in this city. The bride is the 18-year-old daughter of David H. Woodman, an employe of Walker Bros.' Dry Goods company, and until recently was a student at the Salt Lake High school. The groom is a popular member mem-ber of the force in the car accountant's office at the Oregon Short Line, where he has been employed for the past five years. |
