One of the most important matters for the Saturday practice will be the naming of the boys' choir, which will be decided de-cided by vote. j The fact that there Is a boys' choir organized at the cathedral is not very well known among the Catholics of the parish, but fortunately for the boys. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cosgriff know about the new organization. On Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon the little fellows were taken to the Grand theatre by Mrs. Cosgriff. They enjoyed themselves immensely im-mensely and are enthusiastic over the kindness of Mrs. Cosgriff. The boys appeared in the choir entertainment last month and made a very distinct hit. The treat griven them on Wed- j nesday was a reward for. their good work and the boys are very gratified at the appreciation of their first efforts. I With a little more kindly encouragement encourage-ment it will not be long until a fine boy choir will be heard at St. Mary's. The members of the Altar society j held their usual monthly meeting last Monday. It is a matter of much regret re-gret that so few of the members attended at-tended the meeting, particularly as it was the first meeting held in the new year.
