Show EUREKA, NEV. Sentinel: Father'Manion will hold the usual religious services at the Catholic church tomorrow at 10 a. m. Sunday school at 2 p. m. From a letter received from United States Surveyor General Kyle of Reno, this week, the Sentinel learns of the death of James Ashley from miner's consumption at Provo City, Utah, on Aug. 22, 1902. Mr. Ashley was a pioneer pio-neer miner of this district, and left here about six years ago for Angels Camp, 1 Cal. From there he went to Butte, ! Mont.; thence to Utah. While here he 1 followed mining, and at one-time was ! deputy sheriff of this county under Mr. Kyle. He was na ative of England, ! and 57 years of age. ' Miss Jennie Muleoy left Eureka Thursday to commence her new school duties in Humboldt county. |
