Show OGDEN. The Sacred Heart academy has an exceptionally large school this year. Last Friday the members of the Sacred Heart League attended holy communion In a bodv. I W. W. Carey and S. C. Gallagher of Carey Bros. & Alden Railroad company, com-pany, are in Ogden'from Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. H., a Wood spent a few days in Ogden visiting Mr. and Mrs. Hulaniski. Dr. and Mrs. S, L. Brick "have returned re-turned from San Francisco. Mrs. Frank Reader of Salt Lake was in the city last week, visiting friends. $ The sheds used for storing the engine en-gine of the motor line at the Hot Springs burned Monday morning, entailing en-tailing a loss of perhaps $150. The fire was caused by a "blaze that caught somehow in the June grass growing near the buildings, the names running through the dry stuff like tinder, and enveloping the shfeds in short order. The fire also destroyed the north telephone tele-phone line, cutting this', and southern cities off from talking with Logan and Pocatello and other places on that lme for several hours.. - |
