Show Obituary. Hogle. The death of Owen Hogle, which occurred oc-curred last week, caused a general feeling feel-ing of sorrow throughout the city, where he was well known and universally univer-sally esteemed. Mr. Hogle was an old resident of Salt Lake during which time he won the confidence and esteem of his associates j by his sterling business qualities and honorable character. The funeral occurred oc-curred on Monday afternoon. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved be-reaved relatives. Coyle. It was with deep regret that the hundreds of friends of Charles A. Coyle heard of his death. For some time past he has been serionslv ill at his home in Eureka and death was to him a merciful release. It is hard to put I 'nto words the sorrow felt at his loss. He was a young man of the most sterling ster-ling good qualities and had endeared himself to all who ever met him. His friends will miss the genial presence of a truly perfect gentleman and what is better, a practical Catholic. The funeral took place from St. Mary's cathedral on Thursday afternoon. after-noon. A large crowd of friends attended, at-tended, among them being prominent members of the Elk lodge. Exquisite music was rendered by the cathedral choir. Rev. Father Kiely preached the funeral sermon, giving a touching tribute to the memory of the deceased. To the loving mother, who is far away in the east, and to the sorrowing sorrow-ing relatives here, all sympathy is extended. ex-tended. May God console them in their .sorrow. Mr. Coyle was a cousin of the McChrystal Mc-Chrystal family of Eureka, all of whom attended the funeral. Dumpby. Quite a circle of loving friends attended at-tended the funeral of John Dumphy, whose death occurred on Tuesday. The deceased was a native of Ireland and was 65 years of age. For some time past he was employed em-ployed at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. O'Reilley, who deeply deplored his sudden death. He was a quiet, kindly old gentleman, who always faithfully performed his duties and when death came he was prepared. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace! |
